I thought this song was fitting for this post
"Scar and Struggles on the way
But with joy our hearts can say
Never once did we ever walk alone"
In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song; this Cornerstone, this solid Ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings cease! My Comforter, my All in All, here in the love of Christ I stand.

Hello Sarah. I stumbled across your blog. I am the caretaker for my husband who has Leukemia. We are at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago for another week or two and then hopefully on the road to recovery. We often talk about how much good has come from his cancer, a closer relationship with GOD is at the top of the list. I will pray for you and would gladly take your place if I could. We are only 49 but 24 is toooooo young for such trials. There are times when I think there is just so much illness in this world and it is overwhelming. So glad to see you hae a sense of humor. you are beautiful inside and out, and inspiring. Hang tough, Godspeed. Betty
